Earthen ware is clay products that are fired to a maximum of 1180 degrees celcius. The clay work has 10 to 15% absorption after firing, thus it is relatively soft but light in weight. Due to the porosity, earthen ware pieces have some thermal shock resistance which makes it useful for certain cookware and outdoor sculpture in hot-and-cold climates.
We design and manufacture our own slip cast items or individual items can be thrown on the wheel. These can then be decorated or painted on order or painted by yourself and fired by us. The range of items include plates, casseroles, mugs, vases, wine coolers, tea pots, canisters, serving dishes and lots more.
